Ann Bernstein, executive director of CDE, participated in the World Bank Group panel discussion, “From Diagnosis to Delivery: South Africa’s Growth, Jobs and Reform Agenda.” Moderated by Francesca Lotti, the conversation brought together leading policymakers, economists and practitioners to discuss how South Africa can translate policy reform into sustained economic growth, higher productivity and job creation. Bernstein highlighted the importance of implementation, institutional capability and creating an environment in which businesses can invest, expand and employ more South Africans.
