Speaking on the 702 Money Show, CDE’s executive director, Ann Bernstein, is urging the government to appoint an expert task team to review the structure and financing of local government. She says, “We spend about ten percent of our national budget every year on local government and essentially it disappears, and we are not seeing infrastructure or maintenance”.  This interview comes after the recent release of CDE’s report titled ACTION THREE: Fix the fiscal crisis.
