In an interview with Mandy Wiener on 702’s Midday Report, the Centre for Development and Enterprise’s executive director, Ann Bernstein, discussed the importance of leadership and setting priorities for transforming South Africa. Bernstein outlined the five priorities that form part of CDE’s AGENDA 2024: Priorities for South Africa’s New Government, a project that sets out a series of carefully selected and crafted actions to signal a new approach to reform. “Negotiating a new government should not be about power, politics, and positions. The discussions need to go beyond what a new government will look like and include what this new government will do once in office,” she said.
